RULES
– Sid’s Raceway Races
Please keep in mind that
the goal of having these rules is so that everyone
can have a safe and fun experience!
1)
NO REVERSE allowed. 1st offense = 1 lap docked. 2nd
offence = best qualifier eliminated
2) After each race, your CAR AND RADIO
MUST be placed on the designated table at the side of the track
for inspection throughout the next 5 min. race, while you go to a marshalling
post (marked by a numbered pylon)
3) YOU MUST MARSHALL AFTER YOUR RACE
– if you cannot marshall, a *registered racer* must take your
place. Your radio still must REMAIN on the table during the next 5 min.
race (Your car can only be taken away for repairs if another registered
racer is marshalling your post)
4) Marshalls must never attempt to repair a
car during a race. Please no smoking, drinking or talking with
other marshals – other than to alert them to something on the
track.
5) Please pick up your transponder 2 minutes
prior to your race, and return it immediately after each race.
ALL races will be run back-to-back, with a short break in between each
full qualifying round.
*One
final note for marshalls* - PLEASE do not try and make
up time for a crashed car by advancing it on the track - it
must be turned over in the exact same spot in which it has crashed.
